Locals, visitors embrace Easter events

Locals and visitors again dug deep for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal with Echuca-Moama again giving generously — raising almost $126,000 — placing the twin towns in the top five on the regional tally board. Echuca-Moama was again the place to be across the Easter break, with visitors flocking to the twin towns for a big weekend of Easter fun.

From the Walk of Witness on Friday, to markets and Easter egg hunts and family events, it was a weekend of fun, chocolate and family.

For those needing a break from their chocolate and seafood indulgences, a myriad of sports were played across the long weekend, including racing, traditional clashes on the football field and netball courts, as well as the annual tennis tournaments.
