A 12-year-old girl has been charged with murder following a fatal stabbing in Melbourne.
Emergency services were called to a Footscray apartment after a 37-year-old woman was found dead about 2am on Thursday.
The girl was arrested at the scene.
She was later charged with one count of murder and remanded to appear in children's court at a later date.
