Seasonal allocations for northern Victoria are inching up.
The Resource Manager for northern Victoria has lifted the seasonal allocations for the Murray system from 90 per cent high reliability water shares to 93 per cent.
The Goulburn and Loddon systems increase from 54 per cent to 57 per cent.
The Broken system increases from 27 per cent to 32 per cent.
The Campaspe system remains at 100 per cent.
The Bullarook system is unchanged at zero per cent.
Resource Manager Mark Bailey said rainfall in late October had given a small boost to flows.
“Our flow forecasts assume no further rain,” Dr Bailey said.
“The recent rainfall meant the flows into storages were more than forecast and gave more resource to allocate.
“There was small improvement in the Bullarook system, however, more rainfall and flows are needed to close the gap to a seasonal determination in the system.”
