Rochester surged past the league’s bottom side, Tatura, in round seven of the Goulburn Valley League season.
The Bulldogs had no response to the quality of the 2025 Tigers outfit as Rochy picked up a huge win, 23.19 (157) to 2.7 (19).
Rochester was quick to put its stamp on the game, restricting Tatura to just a point in the first quarter while piling on 30 of its own.
The Bulldogs kicked their first major in the second term, but it did little to stem the flow of Tigers points as Rochy went in to the main break up by 60.
It was more of the same in the second half, with Rochester putting together a comprehensive four-quarter drubbing.
Kyle Waters had a breakout scoring afternoon, kicking six goals for the Tigers, while Hugh and Wil Hamilton slotted four each.
Jayden Armstrong and Will Russell provided the only joy for Tatura in the game.
Rochy remains part of an elite four at the top of the GVL ladder. Unbeaten Kyabram and Shepparton Swans lead the way, followed closely by the 6-1 Tigers and Echuca.
A patch of easier fixtures will continue for the Tigers on Saturday, May 31, after the interleague break, as they take on the league’s other winless side, Shepparton United, at Deakin Reserve.
