Victory in the Picola District Football League still looks a far-off prospect for Mathoura’s senior side, the team on the end of another big scoreline in round 8.
This week, Tocumwal was the beneficiary of the Cutters’ inexperienced line-up, rolling to victory 30.20 (200) to 2.0 (12).
There wasn’t much to celebrate for Mathoura, but Luke Egan and Wade Austin provided some moments of joy for the Cutters as they slotted their two majors.
For the Bloods, Flynn Tonks took full advantage of his side's advantages, cashing in for 10 goals, while Logan White and Dane Maxwell slotted five each.
While three sides remain winless in the league this year, Mathoura sits at the bottom of the ladder with the inferior percentage.
There is little respite on the horizon for the beleaguered Cutters, who will face some of the league's best, Katamatite and Katandra, in the next few weeks.
