Shepparton Golf has finished king of the mountain in the Goulburn Valley Playing Area division two weekend pennant home and away season.

On Saturday, Golf knocked over East Shepparton on the road, serving up a 16-97 to 2-81 thrashing to edge ahead of Seymour by three points.

The Golfers were in pink touch, taking three of the four rinks with Wayne Gribble skippering a 30-16 drubbing of Wayne Rutherford’s quartet in the last.

Shepparton Golf now meets Seymour in the semis after the latter felled Kyabram 14-103 to 4-96.

The other decider will be a repeat of Saturday’s Tallygaroopna-Shepparton Park clash, with Park scoring a 16-106 to 2-81 victory.

In the round’s other game, Nagambie blitzed Tatura-Hill Top 18-112 to 0-82 to cruelly snuff out the combine’s finals hopes.

News photographer Megan Fisher strolled the rinks to snap all the action from the Golf-East game.
