Leitchville-Gunbower has doubled up its joy in round six of Heathcote District League netball with a strong showing against fierce rival Lockington-Bamawm United.
The Bombers came into the game humming after getting their first win of the season against Heathcote the round prior, while the Cats are still trying to find second gear, slumping to 0-5 this season.
L-G managed to get a comfortable victory over its counterparts, cruising throughout the match to claim a 14-goal win.
The final score was L-G 48 to LBU 34.
The Bombers' new-found form has propelled them into the finals frame heading into round seven, where the side will have a well-earned break.
They will then be hunting more reward when they come up against their closest competition, Elmore, in round eight.
Speaking of the Bloods, the Cats’ next opportunity to get their season under way will be against them at Lockington Recreation Reserve in round seven.
