Emergency services were called to a car fire, which has since been deemed suspicious, in Shepparton on Thursday morning, October 16.
Firefighters arrived to the scene on Wheller Rd to find a white Mercedes fully alight, and a small grass fire around it at about 10.15am after 000 callers reported it.
Fire Rescue Victoria crews, assisted by CFA, brought the fire under control by 10.28am.
Police said the Mercedes had been stolen from Katamatite in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The fire is being treated as suspicious and the investigation is ongoing.
