Morning commute chaos on the causeway

Commuters in Mooroopna faced delays of around 20 to 30 minutes on Wednesday morning following a collision in the town.

A truck and a car collided on the Shepparton-bound side of Geraghty’s Bridge, approaching the Peter Ross-Edwards Causeway.

Ambulance Victoria confirmed that paramedics were called to a collision at around 8.15am.

A male in his 40s was transported by road to GV Health in a stable condition with upper body injuries.

Emergency services had cleared the scene by around 8.50am.
