Caravan fire at Mooroopna park

A caravan and carport were damaged by fire at a Mooroopna caravan park on Tuesday, June 3.

CFA crews responded to a structure fire at Vara Ville Village on the Midland Hwy at about 11.15am.

Three CFA units attended the incident with Fire Rescue Victoria, Ambulance Victoria and the police.

Ambulance Victoria responded to the incident at about 11.20am and one person was taken to Goulburn Valley Health.

A community advice message was issued for Mooroopna and Ardmona due to smoke in the area.

The incident was declared under control at 12.03pm.
