A woman has died, and two children were seriously injured, after a car crashed into a tree at Puckapunyal on Friday, November 7.
Police said a car crashed into a tree off Seymour-Tooborac Rd at about 3.55pm.
The driver, a 45-year-old Junortoun woman, died at the scene, and two children who were passengers of the vehicle were airlifted to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries.
Investigators have identified the driver of a B-double truck in the area at the time of the crash, and he is assisting with inquiries, police said.
