A 10-year-old was flown to a Melbourne hospital after an incident with a train at a train station on Tuesday, April 29.
Police said it was believed the girl was waiting for a train to pass at Avenel train station near Plummer St just after 3.30pm when the front tyre of her bicycle was clipped by the train, causing her to hit the side of the train.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said the girl was treated by paramedics at the scene for upper body injuries.
She was then flown to the Royal Children’s Hospital in a stable condition.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
