Hopwood Gardens is set to fill up on the morning of Mother’s Day as guests gather to take part in the Mother’s Day Classic.
The event aims to raise funds in support of breast and ovarian cancer research.
Event organiser Emma Godden said the event was a good way to celebrate mothers who are suffering from cancer.
“This is a amazing event to encourage celebrations of mothers who have breast cancer, ovarian cancer and to get together for a fun day for this fantastic cause,” she said.
“Wear something fun, bright pink, have your smile on your face for the day, bring your drink bottles and dogs are welcome, but please always keep them on the leads.”
Participants have the option to take part in an 8km run, 4km run or a 4km walk.
From 7.45am Snap Fitness Echuca will be running warm-ups at Hopwood Gardens before the first wave set off for the 8km run at 8am.
Those doing the 4km run will follow at 8.15am before the walkers set off at 9am.
There will be a raffle happening on the day to raise more funds, with three prizes to be won.
Pixie Dust will be keeping children entertained with face painting and the Let's Do Coffee cart will be selling coffee from 7.30am.
About 250 people have already registered to take part in the day.
Online registrations will close on Wednesday, May 7, however people are still able to register on the day.
