The contents of a truck caught fire on Eden Grove in Kyabram on Thursday, May 15.
At 8.17am, CFA units from Kyabram and Tongala responded to a non-structure fire near Kyabram Fauna Park.
Upon arrival, crews found the load of a rubbish truck had caught fire.
A CFA spokesperson said the incident was declared under control at 8.41am and safe at 9.01am.
At 8.57am, Campaspe Shire Council social media alerted local residents to the fire, and that it was under control.
It said a replacement truck would return to the area to complete the kerbside run.
Victoria Police was on the scene for traffic control.
