Shepparton bus and truck crash causes major traffic delays

A bus and a truck collided in Shepparton on Thursday, October 30.

The crash between the bus and small truck occurred on the corner of Archer St, near Broken River Dve about 3.20pm.

Police said the bus was travelling south of Archer St when it allegedly rear-ended the truck which was in front of it and turning right.

Police said there were no passengers on the bus at the time of the crash, and the bus and truck drivers were not taken to hospital.

Traffic was heavy after a bus and truck crash in Shepparton on Thursday.

Traffic was heavy on Archer St, with police directing vehicles in both directions for about an hour as heavy haulage machinery was needed to be called in to move the bus.
