Tatura’s Maddie Beare loves showing cows.
She completed her first handling class at last year’s Shepparton Show as part of a school group and since then, she’s competed at the Kyabram Show, the Rochester Show, Dairy Week and the Victorian Winter Fair.
It was at the Shepparton Show in 2025 where the 16 year old first met Jasmine Cordy, co-owner of Peppermint Vale Jerseys and Holsteins in Mooroopna North West,
Jasmine is now mentoring Maddie who is planning to participate in cattle showing for the foreseeable future.
