The Cobram Courier office will close at the end of June.

McPherson Media Group executive chairman Ross McPherson said the expense of maintaining a bricks-and-mortar presence was no longer viable in an increasingly digital age.

“It makes more sense to invest in journalism and community and customer engagement through digital means – although our journalist and advertising team will maintain a constant presence in Cobram and the surrounding towns,” Mr McPherson said.
