Milk price increases to $9.70

Goulburn Valley Creamery in Kyabram.

Goulburn Valley Creamery has announced a revised milk price of up to $9.70/kg of milk solids for exclusive supply in the 2025-26 season.

The Kyabram processor’s opening offer of $9/kg MS was made on May 30, and the step-up comes just ahead of the start of the new milk supply year on July 1.

Goulburn Valley Creamery says the updated price reflects strong competition in farm gate pricing and the company’s growing need for additional supply to meet increasing customer demand.

The company is seeking an additional 140 million litres of milk and is sourcing from all major dairy regions across Victoria (northern Victoria, western Victoria and Gippsland) and the Riverina in southern NSW.

The price revision comes as Goulburn Valley Creamery continues to invest in its processing capabilities, including a $20 million expansion at its Kyabram facility, near Shepparton in northern Victoria.

The investment will increase storage, diversify product offerings and support the company’s export-focused growth.
