It’s not just any fruit cake — it’s a fruit cake with a purpose.

The Kyabram Lions are back with their iconic Christmas cakes and puddings that do more than tantalise the taste buds.

Beyond the delicious taste, each cake purchased creates lasting positive change throughout the Kyabram community.

With flood and bushfire season approaching, Kyabram Lions chairman David Livsey explained that every cake sold helps fund emergency support for families affected by natural disasters.

Every dollar from Christmas cake sales stays local, funding disaster relief efforts, childhood cancer research, and supporting schools and community organisations throughout the year.

It’s the perfect cake to gift to a foodie, to bring to your work Christmas party, or to simply share with the family around the dinner table.

A classic at any Christmas function, the Kyabram Lions Club Christmas cake is made in Victoria from 50 per cent fruit and “top-notch natural ingredients”, according to Mr Livsey.

A fruit cake or pudding can be purchased for $16 from the following Kyabram outlets: Fitzgeralds Farm Fresh Meats, Goulburn Murray Credit Union, Bendigo Bank and Albion Fruit and Vegetables.
