An alert has been issued for a grassfire on the Murray Valley Highway at Bathumi, between Yarrawonga and Bundalong and heading east.
The fire is not yet under control but is currently posing no threat but residents are advised to stay informed and monitor conditions.
Firefighters are attending to the so if you are in the area, please keep the roads clear and follow the directions of emergency services.
Smoke is visible from nearby communities and roads.
