Coles Echuca played host to fundraising efforts for FightMND on Saturday, June 7, seeing participants doused with icy water in the name of charity.
The Big Freeze event saw 11 people, including Coles staff members, managers and the Northern Country regional manager, take up the challenge.
As of Thursday, June 12, the Coles Echuca Big Freeze donation page showed $4718 raised from the event, smashing its $3000 goal.
The Coles FightMND campaign officially ends on Tuesday, June 17, so the store’s and region’s fundraising total is yet to be tallied up.
Meanwhile, Echuca community member Max Ogilvie will take a Big Freeze plunge of his own this weekend, aiming to raise $10,000 for FightMND.
Mr Ogilvie has organised an event at Tindarra Resort on Sunday, June 15 from 9.30am, with tickets available at www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1385643
