Celebrating 27 years of dairy excellence

The South Gippsland Dairy and Farming Expo is celebrating its 27th year.

The Strzelecki Lions Club is proud to announce the return of the South Gippsland Dairy and Farming Expo, celebrating its 27th year of showcasing the latest products, technology, services and innovations supporting Australia's dairy and farming industries.

Held at the Korumburra Showgrounds on September 2-3, the expo continues to bring together farmers, industry professionals, exhibitors and rural communities from across Victoria for two days of learning, networking and fun.

With dozens of exhibitors from across Australia, visitors will have the opportunity to compare products, explore new technologies, discover innovative farming solutions and speak directly with the people behind the industry's leading brands.

It's a unique opportunity to see so much of the dairy and agricultural sector in one place, over two action-packed days.

For almost three decades, the Dairy Expo has become one of Gippsland's premier agricultural events, with funds raised contributing more than $650,000 back into the local community through Lions projects and community initiatives.

What began as a local initiative has grown into one of Victoria's most respected regional agricultural events, attracting visitors from right across Gippsland and beyond while continuing to support local community projects through the Lions Club of Strzelecki.

New for 2026 – The Dairy Expo Clearing Sale

One of the major highlights for 2026 is the introduction of the inaugural Dairy Expo Clearing Sale, proudly sponsored by Nutrien Ag Solutions.

For many years, respected local dairy farmer Graeme Lancey dreamed of bringing a farm equipment clearing sale to the Expo. This year, his vision becomes reality.

Commencing at 10.30am on September 2, the clearing sale will feature a range of quality farm equipment, machinery and rural items, with all proceeds supporting the Gardiner Foundation New Zealand Study Tour.

In Graeme's own words: "Stop Thinking. Join the Action!"

Whether you are looking for a bargain or simply wanting to support a great cause, everyone is encouraged to come along and help celebrate Graeme's legacy. If you have any quality farm equipment, then please contact our event secretary. From machinery, equipment and farming essentials, every item sold will help invest in the future of our dairy industry through the Gardiner Foundation New Zealand Study Tour.

Breakfast with the egends

Another exciting addition this year is the Dairy Legends Breakfast, proudly supported by the Look over the Farm Gate Grant and South Gippsland Shire Council.

Held from 8am September 3, the breakfast will bring together farmers, service providers and industry friends for a relaxed morning of conversation, connection and plenty of laughs.

Guests will also enjoy a unique live auction featuring one-of-a-kind caricatures of well-known dairy personalities, with proceeds again supporting the Gardiner Foundation New Zealand Study Tour. More than just breakfast, it's an opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, celebrate the people who make our dairy industry so special, and start the day with plenty of laughter before heading into another full day at the expo.
