Bulla does it for Dolly

The team from Bulla have been raising money for Dolly's Dream via their Scoops of Kindness Program.

A conversation with one of its farming families introduced Bulla Dairy Foods to Dolly's Dream and a shared commitment to supporting young people across regional Australia.

Dolly's Dream was founded by Kate and Tick Everett in memory of their daughter Dolly.

The foundation works with schools, families and communities to prevent bullying and provide support resources for young people.

Bulla's chief dairy and sustainability officer Glen Round said at Bulla, we are a family, and that means looking out for one another, both within our teams and across the communities we are part of.

One of Bulla’s initiatives was the Scoops of Kindness program, which launched at Farm World earlier this year.

Farmers donated in exchange for Bulla Choc Tops, raising money for Dolly's Dream's prevention and education programs.

In May, to coincide with Do it for Dolly Day on May 8, Bulla took the Scoops of Kindness School Tour to communities across Colac, Gippsland and Northern Victoria, reaching close to 4,000 students and teachers with resources and conversations around kindness and anti-bullying.

During this year's campaign, Colac and Elliminyt were named the top Victorian postcode for Dolly's Dream donations, a reflection of the strength of community spirit in the region Bulla has called home for generations.

"The response from local schools and our farming community has been really humbling.

“You can see how much these conversations mean to families, and we are proud to have played a small part in helping share Dolly's Dream's message and resources," Glen said.
