From Snow White to Ned Kelly and prodigal young wizards bearing distinct cranial scars: the beloved heroes and villains of children’s literature came to life at Cobram Anglican Grammar School’s recent Book Week Parade.

While teachers donned inflatable likenesses of donkeys, cows and other livestock loyal to the theme of ‘Old McDonald’, students and teachers filled the basketball courts with the din of nervous excitement.

And to the beat of pop music, parents watched on as students from each class strutted their stuff with a lap around the assembly.

The Courier was there to capture some of the fun.
