All Saints among the world’s best wineries

In a list overwhelmingly dominated by Argentina, five Australian wineries made the Top 50.

The Forbes Top 50 Wineries List represents the pinnacle of achievement in the global wine industry, and the 161-year-old All Saints Estate was listed at number 46.

The property's unique 19th-century architecture and picturesque grounds along the banks of the Murray River attracts wine enthusiasts from around the globe.

All Saints Estate is one of Australia’s oldest wineries, established in 1864 by Scottish engineers George Sutherland Smith and John Banks.

The estate’s heritage-listed castle was hand-built from local bricks, framed by 150-year-old elm trees and manicured English gardens.

Today, guests can explore the original cellars, visit the century-old Chinese Dormitory, and enjoy tastings of Rutherglen icons like Durif and Muscat.

All Saints Estate has been crafting wines in the Rutherglen region since 1864 and is renowned for exceptional and premium table wines including world-renowned fortified wines.

As part of Saints Collective, which includes St Leonards Vineyard (est. 1860) and Mount Ophir Estate (est. 1891), siblings Eliza, Angela and Nicholas Brown own and operate three of the region's most historic properties.

The winery achieved sustainable winegrowing certification in 2024, cementing its dedication to environmental stewardship and responsible vineyard management, critical components of the Forbes assessment framework.
