A man has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing another man to death in a suspected domestic violence incident.
Emergency services were called to Emu Plains, in Sydney's outer west, following reports of a stabbing about 6.45pm on Thursday.
Officers arrived at a Clouta Place address to find a 58-year-old man with multiple stab wounds to his upper body.
Paramedics treated him at the scene but he could not be revived.
A number of police and ambulance vehicles were pictured crowding the otherwise quiet, residential street after the incident.
A 30-year-old man was arrested at the site and taken to Penrith Police Station, where he was charged with murder (domestic violence).
A crime scene has been established and detectives are investigating the incident under Strike Force Hawklar.
The 30-year-old was refused bail and will appear in court on Friday.
