Book Week took on a fresh twist at St George’s Rd Primary School, with students diving into a range of hands-on activity groups designed to make reading fun, engaging and interactive.

Instead of a parade, classrooms were transformed into hubs of creativity where students rotated through sessions that sparked their imaginations and highlighted the joy of storytelling.

Laughter, curiosity and a sense of adventure filled the school as students explored how stories can inspire, teach and entertain. It was a day that reminded everyone that reading isn’t just about turning pages.

It’s about stepping into a world of endless possibilities.

News photographer Rechelle Zammit snapped the excitement of the day.
