Children got the chance to unleash their creativity as Shepparton Art Museum’s much-loved holiday program hit the road.

Kialla Central Hall was transformed into a hub of colour and imagination on Wednesday morning, as kids aged four to 12 rolled up their sleeves to create artworks inspired by iconic Australian artist Brett Whiteley.

Through ‘SAM Camp: Whiteley on the Road’, children explored an art-filled suitcase of ideas before embarking on their own creative voyage, experimenting with a range of hands-on activities.

News photographer Megan Fisher was there to capture the joy and concentration on young faces as they painted, glued and crafted their way through the spring holidays.
