THE MILESTONE 80TH KYABRAM RODEO IS POISED TO THRILL AND INSPIRE THIS LABOUR DAY LONG WEEKEND WITH HEART-POUNDING EXCITEMENT.

As one of Australia’s most cherished community traditions, families and friends will unite to honour the rodeo’s remarkable 80-year legacy.

McPhee Rodeo Company, in partnership with the Kyabram AH and P Society, will host the event at the Kyabram Showgrounds on Friday, March 6, 2026.

The Kyabram Rodeo is saddling up for another thrilling event, with site bookings and pre-ticket sales now available.

With the rodeo’s surging popularity, organisers anticipate record-breaking crowds and a 20 per cent increase in rider participation across all events.

Embracing a family-friendly atmosphere, the gates welcome visitors from 3pm, with the main spectacle roaring to life at 7pm.

The earlier gate opening times will give families time to embrace the kids’ inner cowboys and cowgirls, explore the rodeo side show, and dine on local food trucks, before all the action starts.

The Kyabram Rodeo is part of the long weekend tri-series, which includes rodeos in Merrijig on Saturday and Chiltern on Sunday.

This year’s event promises to maintain its traditional flavour, while introducing fresh elements to ramp up the excitement.

Rodeos are galloping back into the limelight, celebrating the remarkable bond between skilled riders and their powerful animal partners in breathtaking displays of mutual strength and agility.

The animals are more powerful than ever, and the skilled cowboys are pushing their limits with increasingly daring performances.

The 2026 Kyabram Rodeo will feature a music element, which we will all have to stay tuned for to find out more about closer to the 2026 Labour Day weekend.

The music element will add to the family-friendly atmosphere and ensure a comfortable experience for all attendees.
