Goulburn Valley Hospice will be holding its community memorial on Wednesday, May 24 from 5pm to 6.30pm at the Victoria Park Lake foreshore, just behind Shepparton Art Museum.
Candles will be supplied for a gold coin donation at the event, as people come together to remember those they have lost.
Some people may wish to come for a short time, light a candle and leave; others may wish to stay for longer.
Live music will be performed, while a barbecue will also be at the event.
The event is being organised by GV Hospice, with Ian Bull as master of ceremonies.
