Kylie Minogue is weighing up the idea of launching her own Taylor Swift‑style Eras Tour.

The 57-year-old icon will celebrate 40 years in pop in 2027, and while nothing is in place yet, she has revealed talks are underway about doing something in the vein of Taylor's career-spanning concert tour or Madonna's Celebration jaunt.

Appearing on Heart 90s Breakfast, she said: "Let's watch this space. Shimmer dissolve, and she disappears ... Yeah, probably.

"Talking about celebration, it will be such a milestone. I can't say, I don't really know yet, but yeah, we're thinking about it."

The Spinning Around hitmaker launched her career in 1987 with a cover of the timeless classic The Loco-Motion, leading her to global stardom with legendary songwriting trio Stock Aitken Waterman, before going on to have another huge hit of her own with I Should Be So Lucky that same year.

The XMAS singer was a surprise guest at Madonna's Celebration Tour show in Los Angeles in March 2024, and although they haven't spoken about working together since then, she would jump at the chance.

In a separate interview, she told People magazine: "Obviously I would (collaborate with Madonna).

"So, there's been no discussion, but if it were to happen, that would be great."

The Padam Padam hitmaker hailed her performance with Madonna at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles as an "incredible night" and a "humble moment" for her and the "icon".

She said: "That was an incredible night and an incredible moment. And a lot of people had been waiting a long time, probably including us, but I thought that was just perfect."

At the show, the two stars surprised fans when they performed Gloria Gaynor's I Will Survive and Minogue's noughties hit Can't Get You Out Of My Head.

Minogue reflected: "It wasn't a big choreography. It was just two performers, two women, two people that, without having to say much, you can understand some of each other's journeys.

"(We wanted) to lift each other up and celebrate each other."

Speaking on stage at the time, Madonna declared it a "privilege" to perform with Minogue.

She said: "On the subject of survival, I would like to introduce a very special guest who's going to come up here and sing with me. Her name is Kylie Minogue.

"Now this is what we call a survivor, okay?

"I'm falling apart. Anyway, it's a privilege for me to be up here singing with you. You are a fighter, too. God bless you. Never give up. You never did."
