Water top of mind at season outlook briefings in NSW

A line-up of guest speakers will talk forecasts, water markets and more.

Murray Irrigation is hosting three season outlook briefings during September.

The events will aim to equip attendees with insights and resources from industry experts, enabling well-informed decisions for the season ahead.

With forecasts indicating a drier season than in previous years, the information provided will be particularly relevant and timely.

As an added bonus, all attendees will be entering the draw to win a delicious dining experience at The Crossing Café, Deniliquin, The Bend, Tocumwal and cluBarham, Barham.

RuralCo water trade and brokerage specialist Marianne Graham, who will talk water markets, NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water’s Shahadat Chowdhury and Priyantha Jayakody will provide a timely forecast on water allocations.

Nutrien principal atmospheric scientist Eric Snodgrass will remotely provide a weather forecast specifically focused on the Murray Irrigation footprint.

Murray Irrigation’s customer experience senior manager Josh Bode will deliver a seasonal overview and discuss Water Solutions, the initiative launched in July this year.
