The Tri-State Games finished with a gala dinner on Friday, November 17, after a fantastic week of sports which spanned Cobram, Barooga and Yarrawonga.

Moira Shire Council chair of the panel of administrators John Tanner has hailed the event a brilliant success.

“It's been a fantastic time,” he said.

“The weather’s been kind to us although it’s been a little bit cooler than predicted. We had really good outcomes and everyone’s had a fantastic time.”

Mr Tanner’s sentiments have been echoed by Berrigan Mayor Julia Cornwell McKean.

“It's been such a tremendous success for both our councils and also for the athletes,” she said.
