Seymour was in a different class in Goulburn Valley League round 10 action, torching Rochester’s A-grade side.
The Tigers had come close against top opposition in the past, as recently as last week when they pushed Shepparton Bears, but that wasn’t the case on Saturday, as Seymour established itself at Kings Park quickly and didn’t let up.
The Lions were on top 18-7 by quarter-time and extended that lead to 25 by the half.
The host continued to run away with the game in the fourth and finished with a big win, 80-38.
Ava Nihill (23) and Payton Tiller (15) continue to share the scoring load in the absence of Tia Webb.
The Tigers continue to struggle with injuries, absences hampering their chances of breaking through for a fourth win of the year.
An opportunity to return to winning ways beckons this Saturday as the Tigers host bottom-of-the-table Kyabram at Rochester Recreation Reserve.
