Rain clears for play

Rain which started Tuesday and continued the next day, cleared up in time for the Deniliquin Netball Association’s twilight competition to continue on Wednesday evening.

Round three of the competition was played in quite pleasant conditions at Deniliquin’s Memorial Park.

Seven of the eight scheduled games went ahead, with one open competition game cancelled.

Net Top Models was meant to meet U17 Rep on the courts, until there was a forfeit.

Under 13s - Vicious & Delicious 35 def Flamin Hot Cheetos 3; Avengers 9 def Just Watch Em 1.

Under 15s - U15s Reserves 16 def Last Minute 10; U13 Rep def Girls On Fire 11.

Open - Get Em 29 def U15 Champions 25.
