Echuca South won a low-scoring encounter against Tongala by 18 runs.
The Swans conjured 9-110 with David Whyte (24) top-scoring as Jordan Souter (3-14) proved difficult to get away.
Tongala found themselves on the back foot in the chase and despite 20 not out from Ben Smith, was bowled out for 92.
Shanaka Silva (3-14) was the pick of the bowlers.
Rochester defeated Nondies-Cohuna by five wickets at Windridge Oval.
Leigh Johnson (39) and Greg Moorhouse (28) helped the Combine to 118 as Lachlan Joyce (3-9) impressed.
Rochester chased down the target thanks to Donald Young’s breezy unbeaten 34 and a resolute 27 not out from Grant Wachter.
Colbinabbin scored a 32-run win over Girgarre in the highest-scoring game of the round.
The Hoppers posted 7-213 with Hamish Hooppell (67), Reardon McIvor (39), Kane Moroney (29no) and Adam McPhee (28) among the runs.
Mackenzie Cowley (49) and Shaun Doolan (44) had Girgarre in a good spot at 1-112, but the innings lost momentum following their departure, even though Jonathon Sherritt hammered an entertaining 34 late on.
Fletcher White (4-29) starred for the Hoppers, while Hooppell completed a fine all-round performance taking 3-38.
C-GRADE
Only three of the five matches were completed in the Gus Underwood Shield.
Moama powered to a big win over Echuca South at Echuca Primary School with Tony Orton (91) and Adam Luckman (69) in sublime form.
The Mowers’ score of 5-253 proved more than sufficient, although Cameron Hay (37) caught the eye in the Swans’ reply.
Tom Werner (65 not out) and Charles Lowe (63 not out) inspired Girgarre to a comfortable win over Tongala.
The Blues were bowled out for 132 chasing Girgarre’s 4-264, with Anthony Anderson (4-22) displaying great accuracy.
Stanhope defeated Echuca by seven wickets at Echuca College.
Dylan Morris, Shannon McMahon-Kinnear, Scott Marshall and Adam Braithwaite each collected two wickets as Echuca made 63, a target the Lions chased down in 22.1 overs with Jack Hepburn bringing up his half-century.
D-GRADE
Winners in the Peter Raglus Shield were BLU and Echuca, while there was no confirmation of the result between Rushworth and Cooma.
Half-centuries to Tom Isedale and Charlie McIntyre highlighted BLU’s big win over Stanhope.
Despite the big loss, Charlie Pekin impressed, scoring 62 for Stanhope.
The match between Tongala and Echuca South was a washout.
