A number of local representatives have claimed titles over the last several weeks in tennis tournaments around Victoria.
The Kerang Easter Carnival was played from March 29 to April 1 where Torrumbarry ace Isabella Crossman rose above the competition in three separate events.
Crossman took the Open Women’s singles, the Open Women’s doubles with partner Willow Sainsbury, and the Open mixed doubles with Julian Blainey, not dropping a set throughout the tournament.
She followed up in Swan Hill at the O3K J125 Swan Hill Open from April 2-5, winning the Women’s singles and Tier 1 mixed doubles, this time pairing with Echuca’s Deagan Tomkins.
Also at Swan Hill, Echuca’s Eli Kingma was runner-up in the under-12 singles and won the doubles with Kyabram’s Kade Starling.
Kingma went on to Bendigo’s O3K J125 event from April 10 to 13, where he again was runner-up in the under-12 singles and claimed the doubles title, this time with partner Levi Ryan.
