Stanhope cruised to a seven-wicket win over Goats with opener Hamish Stewart with an unbeaten 33 and Johnathan Pearson (36 not out) showing the way.
Luke Twynstra with 5-3 off 1.5 overs helped Stanhope restrict Goats to 9-83.
Fire Brigade’s 5-92 wasn’t enough to match BLU’s 109 in which tail enders Xavier Kellow (44) and Shannon Bish (25) rescued their side from a batting collapse.
Luke Donnell with 3-7 off eight overs, Rikki Busch (30 not out) and Jarrod Chapman (19 not out) did their bit to try and get The Flames over the line.
Rushworth chased down Moama’s 5-156 through the batting efforts of Bradie Chillingsworth (36), Josh Newton (35 not out) and Jac Barrett (25 not out).
Echuca won the other game convincingly against Elmore.
In the second division, Girgarre piled up 8-210 with Ryan Butler making a half-century, Rex Taylor (45), Shaun Doolan (36) and Mitchell Fitzgerald (20).
In reply Girgarre restricted Rochester to 7-115.
Colbinabbin won a low-scoring clash with Cooma through productive spells of bowling from Tyler McNamara (4-8) and Fletcher White (3-4).
Cooma made only 48 and Colbo had this score covered in 10.3 overs.
Tongala made only 61 against Leitchville-Gunbower with Adam Nunn (24) and Adam Neumann (15) providing the bulk of these runs.
Due to a fine spell of bowling from Travis Johnstone who took 5-8 from 7.3 overs LG made hard work of its run chase and had only two wickets left when it hit the front.
Echuca beat Nondies Cohuna in the other game.
C-GRADE
Girgarre skittled Echuca South for 15 runs in 16.5 overs in claiming an eight-wicket win in 3.4 overs.
Jett Guiney took 6-4 in 5.5 overs for the Roos in the South batting disaster.
Second-placed Kyabram Fire Brigade fell to Echuca by four wickets with only the experienced Justin Elliott and Barry McLeod, both with 21, offering the only resistance with the bat.
Stanhope bowled Rochester out for 53 and lost four wickets in securing the win with Tom Rennie’s unbeaten 22 guiding his side home.
D-GRADE
In the battle of the top sides Rushworth got home with one wicket to spare against Echuca.
Echuca was restricted to 7-95 by the Regan Hanson (4-8) led Rushworth attack and then Josh Francis (22) and Hanson (20 not out) batted their side home with only one wicket to spare.
Cooma’s batters led by its openers posted 5-181 against Tongala which fell for 31 against the Noah Stevens and Peter Fawcett-led visitor’s attack.
Stevens took 5-8 off six overs and Fawcett 4-11 off 5.4 overs with no Tongala batter making it to double figures.
A half-century from Mick Perrella set up Fire Brigade’s win over Stanhope.
Jye Patten hit an unbeaten 62 and Shane Baker 29 in Stanhope’s score of 135, but with Perrella showing the way The Flames claimed victory in 25.2 overs despite Patten claiming 3-23 to complete a good all-round effort.
