The Kyabram Lawn Tennis Club has hosted another successful Easter tournament with three great days of tennis over the Easter long weekend.

Tournament director Mitchell Cox said the event ran smoothly and the level of tennis was high.

“It was a very successful tournament,” he said.

“Our open grades in both the men’s and women’s definitely had an increase in quality this year.

“The previous winner from the year before didn’t even finish in the top three pairs, so it was really competitive in both men's and women's grade

“The courts played really well.

“Huge thanks to the greenskeeper David Starling for doing that.

“As well as being the greenskeeper, he also came runner-up in the men’s open doubles with his son Kade and won the A-grade mixed doubles with his daughter Taylah, so he had a really successful weekend.”
