Cobram Barooga Golf Club has had a busy week getting everything ready for the PGA national associates next week.

There will be a pro-am on Monday and the first round of the associates is Tuesday morning.

On Wednesday, October 25, the club hosted the Finley ladies to play in the annual CBGC v Finley Day.

CBGC was able to hold off Finley in a close encounter.

The club would like to thank the Finley ladies for once again coming over and look forward to many visits from you.

On Friday, the club had its mixed four-ball best-ball knockout and the Wiltshire four-ball best-ball finals.

In the mixed knockout the club had the Goulds v the Wallaces.

In a close final it was the team of Wayne and Jennie Gould winning this year’s mixed knockout 2-1.

The final of the Wiltshire was close all day.

Even 18 holes couldn’t separate the two teams, so the players went to extra holes.

After 21 holes, we finally had a winner.

The team of Adrian Kirk and Will Robinson were victors over Jack Florence and Cal Leighton-Daly.

Well done to everyone for making the finals this year.
