Netballers are gearing up for a massive weekend of Murray league action, with semi-finals around the corner.

In its first year back since 2018, Cobram’s C-reserve side has scraped past third-place Echuca United, taking victory with 36-34 at the weekend.

The determined Tigers outfit has booked itself in for a semi-final clash with fourth-placed Nathalia on Sunday, September 7.

Elsewhere, Cobram’s under-15s have also made their way into the next leg of finals, facing Moama on Saturday at Echuca.

Echuca United defeated Barooga in the under-13s, 35-9, while Mulwala ran away in the C-grade to take the win over Cobram 44-32.

Cobram’s under-17s fought valiantly for a place in finals, but were overcome by a tenacious Tongala outfit 41-31.
