Back on the field after an injury layoff, Gold Coast captain Tino Fa'asuamaleaui insists his focus is fully on salvaging what is left of the Titans' 2025 NRL campaign.

Speculation is rife Fa'asuamaleaui is set to be lured to the Perth Bears amid ongoing concern about the Titans' performance and uncertainty over the future of coach Des Hasler.

Fa'asuamaleaui has a clause in his contract that allows him to speak to other clubs from November 1 for the 2027 season and his manager Simon Mammino has confirmed his client is exploring other options.

Having made a return from a knee injury that sidelined him for three games in Saturday's heavy 54-22 loss to Cronulla at Sharks Stadium, the 25-year-old said avoiding this year's wooden spoon was all he's concerned about for now.

"I'm dedicated to playing well for my coach and for everyone involved within Titans," Fa'asuamaleaui said.

"I'm dedicated to the next three weeks to get wins and get a bit of pride in our jersey."

The Kangaroos representative also didn't bite amid reports he is poised to make a switch of international allegiance to Samoa in the footsteps of Brisbane powerhouse Payne Haas.

"I've been in rehab. It's pretty hard to think about football when you're not playing football, so I just want to get out there and play good for the Titans and worry about that later on," he said.

"But haven't thought about any of that."
