Writing comp entries close today

Today is the last day for submissions in Edward River Council’s inaugural Book Week writing competition.

Council is calling for short stories from high schoolers that tie into Book Week’s theme - To Book An Adventure.

The writing competition has the submission criteria theme of ‘An Edward River Adventure’ with three prize categories for Years 7 and 8, Years 9 and 10 and Years 11 and 12.

It is open to high school students living in the Edward River LGA or studying at Deniliquin High School.

Submissions are due by today.
