This year marks the 60th anniversary of Yarrawonga Lions Club Wool Show.
The local community is invited to visit their pavilion at the Yarrawonga Agricultural Show where you can view fleeces generously contributed by local farmers.
Despite challenging conditions, farmers have consistently supported the wool show.
At the conclusion of each show, the fleeces are baled and sent to auction, with the proceeds returning to the Lions Club and directed toward a local initiative that benefits the community.
This year, the proceeds will be donated to Yarrawonga Health.
The winner of the champion fleece for the first six years was the Sloan Family who have entered fleeces every year and we thank them for their support.
Catering at the show will feature an Oktoberfest theme that includes German sausages and Australian dishes.
There will also be activities for children, organised by Tim Roadley from Bunnings with presentations and awards following the Grand Parade at 3pm.
