Woman in critical condition after three-car collision

A 32-year-old Mooroopna woman was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a three-car collision on the Midland Hwy on Sunday, July 20.

The accident occurred at Corop near the Corop-Wanalta Rd intersection, 50km west of Shepparton at about 3.30pm.

Multiple ambulances, CFA, police and seven members of the Rochester SES unit attended the scene.

Paramedics treated three people at the scene.

The air ambulance landed on the highway at about 4.30pm, and airlifted the Mooroopna woman to The Alfred hospital in Melbourne.

She was in a critical condition as of 3.15pm on Monday, July 21.

A man in his 30s was taken to Bendigo Hospital with minor injuries.

A woman in her 50s was also taken to Bendigo Hospital with lower limb injuries in a stable condition.

Traffic was diverted around the scene.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
