It was a big day of news yesterday, and today’s paper certainly reflects that.

The 2024/25 state budget papers shows infrastructure spending is projected to fall from its peak of $24 billion this financial year to $15.6 billion by 2027/28.

Greater Shepparton City Council also released details about its budget.

Almost 30 crews attended a fire in Mooroopna North, working hard for hours to bring it under control.

And in sport, Numurkah has secured a coaching coup for the next Haisman Shield season.
