Buckle up — WB Utes have roared into town.

Ute lovers from across the country hit the road and revved into Moama for the second annual WB UTEz Run on Saturday, May 25.

Event organiser Shaun Trotter has always loved his WB Ute and was thrilled to bring back the beloved event for its second year.

“I’ve always liked the utes, I had one when I was younger, and we used to drive it all over Australia,” he said.

“We would go to rodeos, country race meets and everyone had similar utes and similar passions [for them].

“It’s nice to get everyone back together again, all the utes and all the people.”

More than 100 utes cruised into town for the special event, with owners ranging from 18 to their 80s swapping stories and revving their engines.

“We had Wbs here dating through all the years they were produced,” Mr Trotter said.

“They came in all colours and dressed in all different ways, from original untouched versions, modified ones, street style utes and then the full B and S Ball kitted-out look.

“It’s great to think that a 40-year-old Australian made, and owned vehicle can still bring so many great people all together to this day.”

The Riv photographer, Aidan Briggs, was on hand on Saturday to capture all the action.
