Victoria waives camping fees to make way for cheaper summer adventures

Camp sites are set to be free this summer.

Families can look forward to one less cost this summer with camping fees being wiped in every national park and state forest across Victoria.

More than 50 million people visit Victoria’s state forests and national parks a year for camping, hiking, fishing and hunting, four-wheel driving, trail bike riding, horse riding, birdwatching and much more

A $9 million investment will ensure all campers have free access to all 131 of Parks Victoria’s paid camp grounds.

The offer will be valid between Sunday, December 1, and Monday, June 30, 2025.

Families who have already booked and paid to go camping will have their money refunded.
