Users weigh in on new-look Skate Park

Curtis Astill, 15: I reckon it’s good. But when it rains it’s really slippery.

The new-look Deniliquin Skate Park has now been opened for a week.

While security fencing installed during the build is yet to be taken away, users have been given access and have been taking full advantage - even during the consistent rain on Friday.

Pastoral Times journalist Rowan Frazer caught up with a few to ask them what they think of the new facilities. This is what they said:

Harrison Moodie, 15: It’s new and improved. I’m pretty happy about it.
Nathaniel Taylor, 16: It’s a lot better than the last one. Though some bits could be better.
Connor Sampson, 10: It’s better than the last one. No holes in the ramps, it’s not spray painted, it’s way cleaner and they’ve used the space way better. It’s good for scooters, skateboards and bikes too.
