Uber Eats has officially launched in Shepparton, joining Menulog, DoorDash and individual as delivery services available in the city.

The service officially started operating in Albury, Wodonga and Bundaberg on Wednesday, with Sheppartonians able to get Mario’s Pizza and Pasta, Noodle Box, Branditt Ave Pizzeria and Cold Rock through the app.

An Uber spokesperson said a report it commissioned showed Uber helped support restaurants which might not have otherwise had patrons.

“Of course to create excitement and opportunities in local economies you need the best local businesses and we are proud to be providing the technology and demand channels for some of the most popular restaurants in these four towns already known nationwide for their quality produce,” the spokesperson said.
